When and where we are playing
Bike polo is played on different days north and south of the river. We are one large community spread across the city, and players often cross the river to play on other courts, but if you are looking to try bike polo for the first time then it is simplest to head down to the court most local to you.
Drop by if you’re interested in giving bike polo a try, no bike or equipment necessary, or if you simply want to what it is all about.
North/East London
Wednesday evenings, 6.30-8pm, Baxter Road, off Balls Pond Road, Hackney.
We have been playing at Mitch for almost ten years, and the newly refurbished court has been built to bike polo specs.
We don’t play every Wednesday – it epends on the weather and how many players we have. It is always best to check on this page of LFGSS before heading down, or text us on oh seven 8 four 1 4 oh too eight seven 5
South London
Mondays and Thursdays, 7-9pm, Newington Gardens, Southwark
What our weeknight South London court lacks in glamour, it makes up for in location – the court is just a few minutes from the south side of London Bridge, in the Newington Gardens park.
We don’t play every Monday and Thursday – it depends on the weather and how many players we have. It is always best to check on this page of LFGSS before heading down, or text us on oh seven 8 four 1 4 oh too eight seven 5
Beginners sessions
Anyone is welcome to come down to a normal night of bike polo, but we also like to try and hold periodic beginners nights, so people looking to learn to play can start together.
We will list upcoming dates here, but if there isn’t one listed then get in touch and let us know that you are interested in attending a beginners session.
Women/non-binary sessions
Bike polo is a mixed sport at all levels, and is a proudly open and tolerant community.
Periodically we hold women/trans/non-binary sessions. If you are interested in attending a night like this please get in touch.
